【摘要】:Theextentofcrackingorpittingofbituminousfilmsisameasureoftheextentofdeteriorationduetoweathering.Failureduetocrackingismoreaccuratelydeterminedelectricallythanvisually.Failuredeterminedbythistestmethodwilldependnotonlyonthecharacteristicsofthebituminousmaterialandtheextentofweathering,butalsoonthefilmthickness,andtheamountandtypeofmineralfillerpresent.Testsonasimilarmaterialofknownweatheringcharacteristics(acontrol)exposedatthesametimeasthetestmaterialisstronglyrecommendedasacheckonthevalidityofthetestresults.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheuseofasparkgeneratingapparatusfordeterminationoffailureduetocrackingofbituminousmaterialsundergoingacceleratedoroutdoorweatheringonelectricallyconductivebackings.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
