【摘要】:ThispartofBS8525specifiesrequirementsandgivesmethodsoftestforpackagedand/orsite-assembleddomesticgreywatertreatmentequipment.Thisstandardappliestotreatmentequipmentwhereallprefabricatedcomponentsarefactory-orsite-assembledbyonemanufacturerandtestedasasingleunit.ThispartofBS8525doesnotrequirespecificwatertreatmentprocessestobeused.However,itappliestoequipmentthattreatsbathroomgreywatersothatitisofaqualitysuitableforprescribeddomesticusesinresidential,commercial,industrialorpublicpremises.ItisnotapplicabletotreatmentequipmentwhichprocesseswastefromWCsandkitchens.ThetestmethodsdescribedinAnnexBandAnnexDhavebeendevisedforthetypetestingofdomesticgreywatertreatmentequipmentwithanominaltreatmentcapacityofupto10m3perday.Theyareintendedtobecarriedoutongreywatertreatmentequipmentundercontrolledconditionsusingpublicmainswaterandsyntheticgreywater.Thesetestmethodsarenotintendedforcommissioningorvalidationoftheon-siteperformanceofthedomesticgreywatertreatmentequipment.NOTE1Recommendationsfortheinstallation,commissioningandvalidationofon-siteperformanceofpackagedand/orsite-assembleddomesticgreywatertreatmentequipmentaspartofagreywatersystemaregiveninBS8525-1.NOTE2AnnexAspecifiesrequirementsforthegreywatertreatmentequipmenttestset-upandpreparation;AnnexBtoAnnexDspecifygreywatertreatmentequipmenttestmethods;AnnexEandAnnexFareinformativeannexes,theformergivingrecommendationsregardinganalyticalmethodsandthelatterprovidinganexampleofaproductinformationsheet.
